A high-security plan has been put in place by the Sindh Police across the district while announcing the verdict in the case of the murder of Um Rabab Chandio’s grandfather, uncle, and father on March 30. According to the security plan issued by the SSP Dadu, security will be on high alert throughout the district, and snap checks will be conducted at various locations.
A special security plan has been prepared for March 30, under which a total of 539 personnel, including 6 DSPs, 33 SHOs, 69 ASIs, 390 police officers, and 41 lady police officers, have been deployed. Additionally, 30 police mobiles and 20 motorcycle squads will also be on duty.
According to the plan, police personnel will be deployed on the roads leading to the Sessions Court in Dadu, and temporary checkpoints will be set up at Um Rabab Chandio’s house in Meher and on the Meher-Indus Highway.
Special police technical teams, search teams equipped with modern equipment, 1122 rescue teams, and fire brigade personnel will also be on alert to handle any emergency situation.
Only relevant individuals will be allowed to enter the Sessions Court Dadu, and roads leading to the court will be closed.
According to the instructions issued by the SSP Dadu, there will be a complete ban on carrying weapons on that day, and Section 144 will be imposed, prohibiting gatherings of more than five people. There will also be a ban on the entry of journalists or cameramen into the court premises.
The police have stated that security agencies will be on high alert to prevent any untoward incident, and strict legal action will be taken against those who violate the orders.
