HEC removes Two year validity period on Law GAT

On April 13, Thursday, HEC issued notification removing the two-year validity of Law GAT and adopted the policy that one-time qualifying requirement for membership of Bar.

Pakistan Bar Council earlier had demanded stating that once qualified is always Qualified therefore one time qualifying law graduate Assessment Law GATĀ  is adequate for membership. HECĀ  Executive Committe considering the demand Approved the same finding it legitimate, reasonable and Appropriate and thus by issuing notification had ceased the annotation of two year validity.
