A group of lawyers from Balochistan recently participated in a professional training program focused on case management, evidence collection, and trial advocacy in Islamabad. The Balochistan Bar Council organized this initiative in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) as part of ongoing efforts to enhance legal expertise in the province.
The week-long training equipped participants with modern techniques for handling cases efficiently, collecting and presenting evidence effectively, and improving courtroom advocacy skills. International legal experts from UNODC conducted specialized sessions, sharing global best practices with the attending lawyers. Participants described the program as highly beneficial for their professional development and expressed appreciation for the practical knowledge gained.
This marks the fourth such training session conducted under the Balochistan Bar Council-UNODC collaboration, reflecting their shared commitment to strengthening the justice system in the province. Officials from both organizations emphasized the importance of such capacity-building initiatives and announced plans to expand the program to reach more legal professionals across Balochistan in the coming months.
The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony attended by senior members of the Balochistan Bar Council and UNODC representatives.
