Impacts of unemployment on mental health

Unemployment is referred to the availability of working force without actual deployment in the jobs and development sector.

Unemployment is increasing day by day in our country. Unemployment rate in Pakistan has increased from 4.5 to 6.6 since 2021. Additionally, unemployment has also dangerous impacts on human lives and their mental and physical health such as, with increase in number of educated persons has also increase unemployment leading them to psychological problems of self helplessness and inferior.
Unemployment has created a social difference between class and standard of living. Employed people feel easy going with their daily life necessities and think for a better tomorrow. But on the other side, unemployed people feel inferior and worry about thier future and satisfied life standard which Impacts their mental health.
Many highly educated persons have failed to recognize their inner strength in the long race of getting employed. For unemployed candidates, getting jobs is only possible through political sources which they feel lacking in them . Thus , unemployment has direct impact on mental capabilities of persons searching for reputable organization and jobs.
