Karachi, March 27, 2026 — The High Court of Sindh has confirmed that although no regular court proceedings will be conducted on Saturdays, the child visitation meetings will continue as per the established schedule until the fourth Saturday of every month.
According to a notification displayed at the district courts, the meetings will be held every Saturday in line with the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of Sindh. However, sessions will not take place on the fifth Saturday of any month or on public holidays announced by the Sindh Government.
In a related development, another circular issued on March 26, 2026, by the Project Director, Access to Justice Program, directed all District and Sessions Judges across Sindh to ensure that child Visitation Facilities remain open on holidays as well. The directive emphasizes that the duty magistrate must supervise the meetings to facilitate smooth interaction between children and parents, in compliance with the decision of the 57th meeting of the NJPMC.
The High Court’s instructions aim to ensure uninterrupted parental access for separated families, maintaining consistency in child–parent contact regardless of routine court closures.
