Justice Qazi Faez Isa issued clarification of misapprehension during Oath Ceremony of FSC Chief Justice

On Friday, Justice Qazi Faeza Isa explained about a false impression casted by a video clip from the oath taking ceremony of the Chief Justice Federal
Shariat Court.

A hype began in the country after the video clip, during the oath ceremony of FSC Chief Justice, where Justice Qazi Faez Isa seemingly turned his back when Justice Umar ata Bandial greeted the person conversing with Justice Isa.

In his clarification note he called it a false impression, and confirms the actual happening of event in following words, “Justice Iqbal Hameed Ur Rehman took oath as the chief justice of the Federal Shariat Court yesterday (1 June 2023). Immediately after the ceremony’s conclusion, I went first to greet and congratulate his wife, where I met Justice Umar Ata Bandial and greeted him. Then I proceeded to greet Justice Rahman.”
