Karachi Bar Association Announces Complete Strike in City Courts; Police Officials Barred on Monday

 

Karachi, April 27, 2025 – The Karachi Bar Association (KBA) has declared a complete strike in the City Courts tomorrow, Monday, April 28, 2025, as part of their ongoing protest. Police officials will not be permitted inside the court premises during the strike.

Imran Aziz Advocate, Acting General Secretary of KBA, stated that lawyers will boycott all court proceedings to press for their demands. The decision comes amid rising tensions between the legal community and law enforcement agencies.

The KBA has warned that the strike will continue until their demands are met. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
