Lahore, Pakistan — Mubashir Rehman has been elected as the President of the Lahore Bar Association (LBA) in the 2025 elections, securing 2,400 votes. The election witnessed a spirited contest, with Adeeb Aslam Bhinder coming in second with 2,088 votes, followed by Mian Faiz Ali with 1,807 votes and Irfan Hayat Bajwa with 1,508 votes.
The Vice President position saw a decisive victory for Mian Sherjeel, who garnered 4,476 votes. Malik Saif Khokhar followed with 3,023 votes, while Humayon Bhatti and Mian Tahir Munir received 2,174 and 2,147 votes, respectively. Other candidates included Malik Afzal Bashir with 951 votes and Sajid Hussain Baloch with 343 votes.
For the Vice President of Modal Town, Waqas Aslam Kahloon emerged victorious with 3,387 votes, closely defeating Asif Kanwal Khan, who secured 3,218 votes. Aslam Bhular received 890 votes. In the Vice President Cantt category, Aflatoon Jhakar won with 3,157 votes, surpassing Abid Lateef Khokhar and Zahid Mehmood Gill, who received 2,123 and 2,060 votes, respectively.
Naseer Bhulla was elected as the Secretary with 3,736 votes, narrowly defeating Malik Sharjeel Khokhar, who obtained 3,458 votes. Malik Fahad Nisar Khokhar followed with 3,046 votes, while Shoaib Ashraf Bhatti received 1,829 votes. Junaid Haider Ansari and Waqar Khan concluded the race with 826 and 224 votes, respectively.
In the race for Joint Secretary, Hafiz Shujaat Ali Khan won with 3,127 votes, while Samina Basra secured 2,876 votes. Shakeel Ishaq Khan received 1,501 votes. The position of Finance Secretary was claimed by Ijaz Gujjar, who obtained 3,682 votes, beating Zuhaib Khan with 3,401 votes and Malik Nadeem with 379 votes.
Samina Khokhar triumphed as Library Secretary with 2,884 votes, followed by M. Faryad Ch. with 2,270 votes, Arshad Chaddar with 1,396 votes, and Adnan Amjad Bhatti with 853 votes. For the Auditor position, Prof. Attique Ahmad Khan secured a victory with 3,726 votes, narrowly defeating Raheela Hafeez Rana, who received 3,594 votes.
