Judicial Commission Reviews Nominations for 12 Sindh High Court Judge Seats from 46 Lawyers

 

Karachi, January 12, 2025: The Secretary of the Judicial Commission has forwarded a list to its members, which includes the names of six district and session judges and forty lawyers for the appointment of twelve new judges to the Sindh High Court. The list is currently under review by the Commission’s members, who will evaluate the qualifications and experience of the candidates before making the final decision.

 

This significant step aims to address the growing demand for judicial services in Sindh, ensuring that the Sindh High Court is fully staffed to handle the increasing caseload. The appointment of these judges is expected to enhance the efficiency of the judicial system and provide better legal recourse for the people of Sindh.

 

As the process moves forward, the Judicial Commission’s final recommendations will play a critical role in strengthening the judiciary in the province.
