Mr. Irshad Ali Shar emerging victorious as President at Malir Bar Association

Karachi: The Malir Bar Association has announced the results of its recent elections, with Mr. Irshad Ali Shar emerging victorious as President, securing 337 votes in a competitive contest against three other candidates: Mr. Nasir Raza, Mr. Rao Zahid, and Mr. Sardar Khan.

The election also saw key appointments to other leadership positions:

  • Vice President: Mr. Muhammad Akram Qureshi was elected.
  • General Secretary: Mr. Ayaz Ali Chandio won the position.
  • Joint Secretary: Mr. Asadullah Bhanbro secured the post with the highest vote count in the election, receiving an impressive 794 votes.

The newly elected representatives have pledged to prioritize the welfare of lawyers and address key issues faced by the legal community. The results have been widely welcomed, with members expressing optimism about the association’s future under the new leadership.
