Quetta Bar Association Announces Special Training Schedule with Federal Judicial Academy

 

Quetta, Pakistan – The President of the Quetta Bar Association, Qari Rehmatullah Kakar, along with senior members Shehryar Achakzai, Abdullah Shirani, and Yasir Kakar, held a meeting with a delegation from the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) to discuss and announce the upcoming schedule for a special judicial training program. The training, aimed at enhancing the legal acumen and judicial understanding of legal professionals, will take place from 25th to 28th November 2024.

As part of the program, participants will have the unique opportunity to visit the Supreme Court of Pakistan on one of the scheduled days. The visit will include a meeting with the Chief Justice of Pakistan, providing attendees with direct exposure to the country’s highest judicial authority and the workings of the Supreme Court.

The group will depart from Kachhari Koya on 23rd November, marking the beginning of the training series, which will continue beyond this initial phase. In addition to the current schedule, a letter confirming additional training sessions in the future has also been received, ensuring ongoing professional development opportunities for local legal practitioners.

This training initiative is part of an ongoing effort by the Federal Judicial Academy and the Quetta Bar Association to improve the skills and knowledge of legal professionals in the region. The collaboration is expected to significantly benefit the legal community in Balochistan, empowering them with critical insights into the workings of the judicial system at the federal level.
