Judicial Magistrate Syed Akhter Shah has received the Best Performance Award from Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi, in recognition of his notable judicial performance. The award acknowledges his efforts towards expediting trials and improving the disposal of pending cases.
During his tenure as Judicial Magistrate-13 (JM-13), Syed Akhter Shah reportedly reduced the pending caseload from nearly 300 cases to 78 cases within a short period. The reduction in pendency has been regarded as a significant achievement in promoting the timely disposal of cases.
