Concerns Over Missing Voters in KBA Election 2024 List

In a surprising turn of events, it has been discovered that voters enrolled after May 2023 have not been included in the voters’ list for the upcoming Karachi Bar Association (KBA) Election in 2024. District Judge South, acting as an election commissioner, undertook this action based on a directive from the Pakistan Bar Council.

The President of KBA 2023, in a video message, expressed shock and condemned the move. He revealed that a stay order has been obtained from the Lahore High Court regarding this matter. The President emphasized that such a significant decision concerning the bar should not have been made without his knowledge.

In response, the President has declared his intent to visit the District Judge’s office, ensuring the inclusion of all members’ names in the voter list. He warned of organizing a protest if the matter is not promptly addressed, emphasizing the importance of transparency and fair representation in the upcoming election. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
