The President of the Kot Diji Bar Association has announced a complete boycott of all courts on September 14, 2026, following a decision taken at a meeting on September 12. According to the announcement, no lawyer will appear or perform professional duties in the courts on the day, while lawyers have been directed to inform their clients and adjourn their matters accordingly.
The announcement further states that emergency cases should be brought to the notice of the President of the Bar Association beforehand. Lawyers have also been warned that any member found appearing in court during the boycott will not be considered part of the association and may face strict legal action. The Bar has directed all members to comply strictly with the decision.
