Request for Consideration and Relief in Selection Criteria

Subject: Request for Equal Rights According to the Constitution of 1973

Sir, today I am not only writing to you as a candidate of the ECT test, but as an oppressed daughter of Sindh and Pakistan. I want to raise a humble and urgent request.

On 18th May, the ECT test was conducted through IBA, and on 10th July the province-level result was announced, in which the passing marks were set at 55.

Sir, from 2021 to 2025, the passing ratio for PST and JEST remained 40%. Then why was the passing ratio for ECT kept at 55?

In SPSC and FPSC, the cutoff marks for BPS-17 posts are 35 marks. In PST and JEST, candidates from hard areas were given orders even at 33 marks. Then why are ECT candidates being placed under such challenging and discriminatory policies?

Sir, every department announces the syllabus 3–4 months before the test, but the ECT syllabus was given on 3rd May, while the test was on 18th May.

In government departments, candidates holding professional degrees are granted grace marks. Why were ECT candidates not given any grace marks?

It has now been five months since the provincial result was announced, yet district-wise and taluka-wise lists have still not been issued. Why is this delay happening?

Today, I request every responsible member of the government: we want justice, we want our rights. Please reduce the passing marks, increase the number of seats, and issue offer letters as soon as possible. Right now, 2,200 women are unemployed and protesting on the roads. Their only concern is the policies of the Education Minister.

Sir, kindly increase the seats for ECT and issue the appointment offers at the earliest.
