Sindh Bar Council Publishes Dual Membership List and list of Voters under notice to satisfy voting in KBA Election 2025–2026

The Sindh Bar Council has issued the tentative Dual Membership List for the forthcoming Karachi Bar Association Election 2025–2026. The list outlines advocates whose memberships appear in both the Karachi Bar Association and the Malir Bar Association, with corresponding membership numbers from each bar. Advocates have been given three days to raise any objections with the Secretary, SBC.

In a related update, the Sindh Bar Council has also released a list of advocates who currently do not meet the eligibility requirements for inclusion in the KBA Voter List, as directed under the Pakistan Bar Council’s order dated April 14, 2026. A three-day window has been provided for rectifying discrepancies before the voter list is finalized.

According to the SBC, the list includes individuals categorized as defaulters, suspended members, expired memberships, canceled registrations, and transferred cases under the SBC Election Rules. The Council stated that these measures are aimed at ensuring an accurate and transparent voter roll for the upcoming KBA elections.
