After the notification of the Sindh Government, the Chief Justice High Court of Sindh as well declared 4th April as a Holiday on account of the 44th Death Anniversary of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. All Local and provincial departments shall be closed that day except those working in the emergency category. Tomorrow will be a holiday for all the Lawyers, which may be termed as relief in Ramzan.
In Ramzan even though timings are reduced the burden remains the same on the legal fraternity, the Lawyers stay in offices and work till late hours.
Some Lawyers observed the Holiday declaration as absurd in the sense that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s death is actually a death penalty given by the Court itself, therefore mourning by the court may not sound so Appropriate.
