Dr. Ammara will be chairing the APAC Board of GAIL

By becoming the first Pakistani to lead the Asia Pacific board of the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL), Dr. Ammara Farooq Malik has opened a new era.
The Global Association of Impact Lawyers (GAIL) is a group of legal pioneers who are utilising the legal profession to enhance and improve people’s lives, protect the environment, and hasten the just transition. They offer a position to encourage reform and aid the drive for a more equal society.
Dr. Ammara Farooq is a corporate lawyer, businesswoman, global development specialist, author, and public speaker. She is the founding principal partner of AFMalik Law, a Pakistani law practise, and has spent more than 20 years developing impact entrepreneurship. She became a social enterprise attorney and Pakistan’s first impact lawyer in 2018, respectively. The first female-run law company in Pakistan to expand internationally is AFMalik Law.
