Unlimited Pecuniary Jurisdiction allowed for Districts Courts of Karachi

According to Section 7 of the Civil Courts (W.P.) Ordinance 1962, the pecuniary original jurisdiction of District Courts across the nation is unlimited, with the exception of the District Judge in Karachi, whose pecuniary original jurisdiction is limited to rupees five lac. Section 4 of the Karachi Courts Ordinance of 1956 established the District Court in Karachi.
