Karachi University Declares LLB Degree of Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri Fake

In a significant development, Karachi University has declared the LLB degree of Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of the Islamabad High Court as fake. The investigation revealed that Justice Jahangiri, admitted under the name Imtiaz Ahmed, had obtained his transcript using the name Tariq Jahangiri.

 

The decision was made after a thorough examination by Karachi University officials, who found discrepancies in the records. This revelation has sparked controversy and raised questions about the authenticity of qualifications held by public officials.

Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, who currently serves at the Islamabad High Court, has not yet commented on the matter. The issue has prompted calls for further investigation into the verification process of academic credentials across all sectors.
