Lawtech UK Launches Free Courses to Drive Digital Transformation in Legal Sector

LawtechUK, an initiative backed by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) dedicated to spearheading digital transformation in the legal sector, has announced the launch of free courses in all areas. Managed by CodeBase and Legal Geek on behalf of the MoJ since April 2023, LawtechUK aims to foster innovation, enhance understanding of lawtech’s benefits, boost the legal sector’s economic contribution, and improve access to legal services while addressing unmet legal needs.

The initiative’s portfolio of activities includes education, events, and thought leadership. With a focus on education, LawtechUK’s free courses are designed to support the growth of the lawtech sector in the UK, increase innovation, and promote the adoption of lawtech in the delivery of legal services. By enabling English and Welsh law and the UK’s jurisdictions to serve as the foundation for emerging technology, LawtechUK seeks to position the country as a leader in the global legaltech landscape.

These free courses come at a pivotal time when the legal industry is undergoing rapid digital transformation. By offering accessible and comprehensive education, LawtechUK aims to cultivate a culture of innovation within the legal services sector and equip legal service providers with the knowledge and tools needed to harness the power of technology effectively. Through this initiative, LawtechUK endeavors to drive positive change, promote inclusivity, and propel the UK legal sector into a digitally-enabled future.
