Inauguration of Chest Pain Unit at Sindh High Court Enhances Health Facilities for Legal Fraternity

In a collaborative effort to prioritize the health and well-being of its members, the Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) inaugurated a specialized Chest Pain Unit at the Sindh High Court premises on February 3rd, 2024. Spearheaded by the dynamic leadership of Mr. Rehan Aziz Malik, serving as the President, and Mr. Sarfaraz Ali Metlo, acting as the General Secretary, the initiative was undertaken by the SHCBA Committee for the year 2024.

The strategic collaboration between SHCBA and the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) underscores the commitment to providing immediate medical assistance to individuals facing chest pain or related symptoms within the legal community. This significant step not only contributes to the overall health and safety of legal professionals but also sets a precedent for the integration of essential medical facilities within institutional frameworks.

The Chest Pain Unit is poised to play a crucial role in ensuring a swift and effective medical response for any emergencies within the court premises. The establishment of such a medical facility within the Sindh High Court reflects a progressive approach to safeguarding the health of legal practitioners and staff. As the legal fraternity embraces this commendable initiative, it sets a precedent for other institutions to prioritize the health and well-being of their members by incorporating essential medical facilities into their organizational structures.
