Justice Irfan Saadat Khan acting CJ of SHC Approved and Appointed for Supreme Court Vacancy

After the Approval from Judicial Commission of Pakistan on 21st October and Parliamentart Committee on 31st October Justice Irfan Saadat elevation to Supreme Court has be confirmed. President Dr Arif Alvi has appointed Puisne judge of the Sindh High Court Justice Irfan Saadat Khan as acting Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court.

The President approved the appointment under Article 196 of the Constitution.

The incumbent Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court is going to retire from his office on Monday and the most senior justice will be appointed in his place
