The Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) Karachi has issued a condemnation notice regarding the imposition of emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the suppression of public voices.

Calling peaceful protest a fundamental democratic right, the SHCBA has called upon the legal fraternity to observe Black Day on Monday, October 12, 2026, to demonstrate solidarity against these undemocratic measures. The association urges authorities to restore normalcy, uphold the Constitution, and respect fundamental rights.

Copies of the notice have been forwarded to the President, Prime Minister, and Chief Minister of KP.
