Karachi Bar Association Announces Grand Operation Against Court Touts

KARACHI: The Karachi Bar Association (KBA) has announced a “Grand Operation” against touts operating at the City Courts, with the association informing its members that action will be carried out in the coming week.

According to a notice issued by the Karachi Bar Association on October 2, 2026, all entry points of the City Courts will be closed for a short period during the operation, while ID cards and other identification documents will be subject to strict checking.

The KBA has requested all advocates and court clerks to keep their KBA membership cards, court clerk cards or other valid identification documents with them. The notice states that any person found creating obstruction, appearing as a lawyer without authorization, or being involved in touting-related activities will face legal action, including registration of an FIR.
