KARACHI, May 16, 2026: The High Court of Sindh today marked a significant milestone in Pakistan’s judicial digitization efforts with the launch of two major technological initiatives—the LRC-Assistant, an AI-enabled legal research system, and the SHC Case Flow Management System (CFMS) Mobile App for iOS. Both projects were conceptualized, engineered, and deployed entirely in-house by the High Court’s IT Department, underscoring the institution’s growing emphasis on technological self-reliance and modernization.

The ceremony highlighted the Court’s continued commitment to improving efficiency, transparency, and access to justice. By expanding digital access to key judicial services and introducing AI-assisted research tools for judges, the High Court reaffirmed its leadership role in Pakistan’s technological advancement within the justice sector.
The newly launched CFMS iOS Mobile Application offers litigants, advocates, and the general public a streamlined, user-friendly platform to interact with a variety of court services. Its major features include:
– Fixed Case Notifications, providing instant hearing alerts;
– e-Services such as online certified copy (CTC) requests, e-Notices, and e-Filing;
– Case Search capabilities across the High Court of Sindh, its Circuit Benches, and District Courts;
– Case Hub, offering access to cause lists, court proceedings, judges’ rosters, and daily case schedules.
The second initiative, the LRC-Assistant, represents a landmark development in Pakistan’s judicial technology landscape. As the country’s first AI-powered legal search engine built specifically for court use, the system offers Hon’ble Judges and Research Officers an intelligent, chatbot-based interface for advanced legal research. Using trained machine-learning models and curated judicial datasets, the system enables deep, query-driven retrieval of judgments and orders. It also integrates access to case diaries, scanned records, and digitized files, allowing for efficient evidence organization and decision support.
With this launch, the High Court of Sindh becomes the pioneer in deploying an AI-enabled judicial research engine within Pakistan’s courts.
Hon’ble Chief Justice Mr. Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput, Chairman of the IT Committee, presided over the event. He was joined by Committee Members Mr. Justice Muhammad Faisal Kamal Alam and Mr. Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry, along with other Hon’ble Judges. The Judges commended the IT Department for its innovation, dedication, and technical expertise, recognizing the initiatives as transformative steps toward a more modern and accessible judicial system.
The launch marks a forward-looking shift as the High Court continues to embrace digital transformation, setting new benchmarks for judicial innovation in Pakistan.
