Lahore High Court Transfers Justice Jawad Hassan from Rawalpindi to Bahawalpur

RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court has transferred senior judge Justice Jawad Hassan from the Rawalpindi bench to the Bahawalpur registry as part of an internal administrative reshuffle. Justice Ahsan Raza Kazmi has been posted to replace him at the Rawalpindi bench.

The transfer is being described as a routine administrative move; however, it has attracted attention within legal circles, particularly in Rawalpindi, where Justice Hassan had been serving and handling a significant caseload.

Justice Hassan was known for dealing with complex matters, and his transfer is expected to be felt by litigants and members of the legal fraternity associated with the Rawalpindi bench.
