Depression is a psychological condition under which a person is unable to find a way out of difficult situations and ends up committing suicide.
Where Some people commit suicide owing to failure in Love, exams, and unemployment, attempts in Matrimonial relations are out of aggression and suffocation.
Day by day huge number of dead bodies due to suicide have been reported in Pakistan, particularly in rural areas of Sindh and Punjab where family and financial issues have undoubtedly ignited the menace. There are many reasons for this conundrum.
Firstly, there has been no team of experts planted for career counseling to guide Young students.
Secondly, marriage issues, divorce, and love affairs have exceptionally enhanced the rage. So, in order to resolve such issues and avoid breakups, religious scholars should play their due role in curbing and burning this prime face and poison of depression.
Thirdly, at universities and colleges; carrier counseling, gatherings, and telecast programs must be held to edify and enlighten for choosing not only the promising profession but also routing its cultivation. Every independent must have freedom of choice, a freedom to sail his/her own boat. Although requiring an Aid to exhale out the smoke, media channels must cultivate and enlighten, they must elevate and play their part to guide students and families.
Therefore, in order to address an increasing number of depression cases in the world, media channels and newspaper should play their role in addressing the menace of depression in Pakistan.
