Karachi Bar Association, a body holding thousands of advocates issues schedule for the KBA Election 2024. The election will take place on 16th December whereas election form submission has already begun. Each year every party submits a nomination of their candidate and continues to compete against each other until the election day. The difference that we perceive in this year election is the restriction being imposed is more extensive compared to previous years. With limited advertising possibilities candidates are finding new ways to please and influence members with their efforts and conduct.
Some people says elections is about impressing people if you are able to satisfy them you can win over their votes as well as the seat. This is why this is a drastic reality that the candidates work with more enthusiasm before the election compared to after attaining the seat.
This year we also see a drastic change in the nomination fee which extends from Rs. 25, 000 /- to 1,00,000/- depending upon the seat they are contesting for.
